Tissue Paper Eggs

"Crinkle up some tissue paper? Sure!" That's how my children feel. They had fun getting the tissue paper sheets as small as they could and then sculpting them into egg shapes!

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

We used one sheet of tissue for each egg. I handed each of the kids their color of choice and they crinkled and squished the paper with their hands until it was as small as they could get it. (I tried to get a photo of this, but their little hands were moving too much. They enjoyed this step very much, to say the least!)

Here is what we got (with a little guidance to get the egg shape we had hoped for.)

  • Step 3

Once we had our egg shapes, the kids wrapped each one with a few different colors of masking tape.

That was it! The perfect little egg to go in our spring paper bag nests.
