Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

I love how this craft uses scraps of fabric in such a fun way. Find a piece of white fabric that is long enough to fit around your wrist. Cut red and blue fabric into approximately 4-inch strips. They need to be long enough to tie onto the bracelet.

  • Step 2

Tie the strips onto the bracelet in any pattern you like. Leave the ends of the strips long, or trim them for a custom look.

  • Step 3

When all of the red and blue strips are tied on, tie the bracelet onto your wrist.

  • Final result!

This simple craft was a hit at our house! Everyone wanted their own fireworks bracelet and we even tied a few red and blue strips onto a hair tie to make a fireworks ponytail holder.
