Step 1
To make playdough mix flour, salt, cream of tartar and Kool-Aid in a medium saucepan. Add water and oil. Stir over medium heat 3-5 minutes. When mixture forms a ball in pan remove. Knead until smooth. Put in plastic bag and refrigerate.
Step 2
Introduce a variety of materials to add texture and experiment with the playdough. Try toothpicks, rolling pins, plastic utensils, straws.

My kids enjoyed making Valentines cookies with our playdough. The koolaid added to the playdough makes it smell delicious and gives it an especially vibrant color.
