Rose Print Napkin Set

I love the idea of functional art for gifts. These sweet napkins would be a wonderful Mother's Day gift and they are a lot of fun to make.

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

Tulip paints are great when you are stamping on fabric. They are thin enough to work with stamps. We used some plain cloth napkins for this.

  • Step 2

I cut the celery so just the bottom was left, about 2 inches. Emma was excited to stamp it in the red paint and see her rose print. I just love that celery can make such a pretty stamp.

  • Step 3

She stamped the napkins in a couple of different spots. They looked beautiful already.

  • Final result!

We used some green puffy paint to add leaves and stems. These napkins came out so sweet and it was so easy for a five-year-old to do. What a great gift!
