Personalized Softball for Dad

My children love when they can use markers on a new type of art canvas. On this day we found these great softballs at a thrift store for under a dollar and turned them into a very special way to say Happy Father's Day!

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

We always browse our local thrift store for new and unique things we can use in our art room. When my two-year-old insisted on leaving with a couple of softballs I thought they had the potential to be a great Father's Day gift.

We pulled out our sharpie's and the kids added some fun personal touches and sweet messages for their Dad. They loved drawing right onto the balls.

I love that this captured a little piece of my children and this age. It will be very special to sit on my husband's desk.
