Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

    Gather your materials. Make sure you choose a loom size that easily slides over your head.

  • Step 2

  • Step 3

    Start knitting, and stop when you reach double the desired thickness for your headband. (You’re going to fold it in half!)

  • Step 4

    When you’re ready to bind off, reference the instructions in your Loom Knitting Set Quick Start Guide.

  • Step 5

    Double knot your end firmly, being careful not to pull on the tail which would cause your work to cinch.

  • Step 6

    Fold your work in half, lining up the edges. It may want to curl back, but that’s okay!

  • Step 7

    Cut a length of yarn that’s 3 or 4 times the circumference of your loom. Attach to your needle, and begin sewing the two ends of your headband together.

  • Step 8

    Once finished, tie a knot and weave in your tail. Adjust the headband so the seam is on the inside.

  • Final result!
