  • Step 4

When you’re ready to bind off, reference the instructions in your Loom Knitting Set Quick Start Guide. Tie a knot, being careful not to pull and cinch the edge of your scrunchie.

  • Step 5

Cut a strip of elastic about the circumference of your wrist. If your elastic is super stretchy, cut your strip a bit shorter. Form a circle with the elastic and tie a double knot.

  • Tip

The elastic circle should fit snugly around your wrist.

  • Step 6

Now you’re ready to assemble your scrunchie. Take your knitted scrunchie tube and turn it inside out. Place your elastic circle around the middle of the scrunchie tube.

  • Step 7

Measure and cut a piece of yarn about 3 times the circumference of your loom. We will be using this to sew the scrunchie closed. Thread it through your yarn needle.

Fold your scrunchie tube in half so that the ends are lined up. Sew the ends closed and hide your loose yarn ends by threading your yarn through the scrunchie.
