Step 1
First we gathered our supplies together. To make our flower lei we needed some flowers, so we cut flower shapes, flower centers and some leaves out of colored paper. Cut up your straws into 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces.
Step 2
Now we started stringing our flower and straw "beads" onto the string. Do this until your lei is as long as you'd like it.
Final result!
The last step is to tie the ends of the lei. You can wear it to add a little spring color to your wardrobe or even hang it up in your room or around the house.
