Step-by-step tutorial
Step 1
Dot painters are great for little ones to use easily. (They make all kinds of fun ones now, too. We have a shimmery scented set that my son adores!)
Step 2
I started this craft out by cutting some sea animals from paper plates. (An older child could do this step. It's pretty easy and I usually cut a whole stack to keep on hand for future art fun.)
Step 3
When my two-year-old is itching to create, I pull out my sea animals and hand him the dot paints. It's the perfect pair.
Final result!
They come out pretty cute. Some even get faces!
