  • Step 1

    Draw this outline on your paper plate:

    Cut the top part of your paper plate to make this snail shape:

  • Step 3

    We used foam stickers to decorate our snail. You could also use construction paper, paint, or tissue paper. It was so fun to watch her get creative and decide which shapes and colors should go in certain spots. This is the perfect time to talk about shapes and colors.

  • Final result!

    Glue on googly eyes (or draw your snail's eyes). Color the body and you could even add antennae using pipe cleaners. We had so much fun with this simple, colorful snail craft!
