Step 1
Gather your materials.
Step 2
Wrap your yarn around your Pom Pom Winder. Keep wrapping until your Pom-Pom Winder is fully covered.
Tip
The more wraps of yarn, the fuller your pom pom will be! When you’re satisfied with the thickness, cut the yarn.
Step 3
Cut a piece of yarn about 5 inches (~13 cm) long. Place it under your winded yarn, and use the two ends to tie a knot around the middle of your winded yarn.
Step 4
Remove the yarn from the Pom Pom Winder.
Step 5
Use your scissors to cut your loops of yarn a few at a time until all the loops are cut.
Step 6
Use the Pom Pom Stencil to cut the ends of the yarn into a more perfect circle.
Step 7
Fluff your pom pom & trim any dangling ends you find.
Step 8
Cut another piece of yarn about 7 inches (~18 cm) and wrap it around the middle of your pom pom. Loop it through the keychain and tie a knot.
Final result!
Personalize your pom pom by winding different yarns or gluing on felt decorations!
