Step-by-step tutorial
Step 1
First, we cut out our bubble wrap in the shape of the beehive. Then we painted the bubble wrap (bubble side up) with orange and yellow paints. We used two paint colors because it allows my son to give the bee hive more dimension, and he loves the creativity of using more than one color.
Step 2
Next, press your painted bubble wrap onto your paper.
Step 3
Then dip your thumb into the yellow paint and create bees swarming the hive.
Step 4
Take a marker to draw the stripes and wings on your bees.
Final result!
And there you have it...a really simple and cute craft! My son really got into this craft--can you tell by the number of bees he made?
