On Valentine's Day, everything is a heart in our house. We love the holidays and love to fully embrace each one. So a heart-shaped pizza is just what we needed for lunch on this day of love.

  • Step 1

    I love ready-made pizza dough. It is a staple for us because of its ability to keep my children entertained, being creative, and making dinner all at once. We love Trader Joe's whole wheat dough, but any kind will work.

    Emma flattened out and stretched the dough with her hands.

    We used several heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out our little pizzas. Any excuse to use a cookie cutter...

    We topped each with pizza sauce and cheese and they were ready to pop in the oven (per your dough's instructions.)

  • Final result!

    Emma was so proud of these pizzas when they were done. She was sure to give the first to her first Valentine, Daddy.
