Ice Cream in a Baggie

This all-natural ice cream recipe is fun to make all-year round--no ice cream maker required!

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

    Pour 1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of honey into a small baggie and seal.

  • Step 2

    Fill a large baggie 1/2 full with ice cubes and add 6 tablespoons of salt.

  • Step 3

    Put the small baggie into the big baggie and seal. Shake the baggies for about 8 minutes or until the ice cream begins to harden.

  • Done!

    Scoop the ice cream out into a bowl and enjoy. We topped our ice cream with caramel sauce--yum!
