Grape Caterpillar

Grapes are cute and sweet all on their own, but for a very special Mother's Day brunch, they can get even cuter. And if you want one for your plate, grab one quick before they all crawl away!

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

    Gather your ingredients!

  • Step 2

    Wash the grapes and remove them from the stem.

  • Step 3

    Push grapes onto the skewer until it is mostly full. Make sure the skewer doesn't stick all the way through your last grape.

  • Step 4

    Add two dots of frosting to the grape on the end. This will be for the caterpillar's eyes. If your grapes are still a little wet, like mine were, dry them off. This will help the frosting stick.

  • Step 5

    Stick a chocolate chip onto each dot of frosting.

  • Final result!

    Your caterpillar is done! Keep making caterpillar friends until you run out of grapes. You can also got creative and add frosting and chocolate chips to the body of my caterpillars to give them spots and stripes.
