Step-by-step tutorial
Step 1
We needed Dad's help with this one. We had him drill a hole at the top of our bottle tops. This is of course a grown-up-only step.
Step 2
Once we had our holes Emma got to work painting some green earth patches on our top. If you don't have a blue bottle top you can always just paint blue patches as well.
Step 3
Emma thought a sweet heart was the perfect finishing touch and I couldn't agree more. So sweet!
Final result!
We added some yarn and our Earth Day necklace was ready to be worn! This came out really cute and my daughter loves wearing things that she got to make herself.
