Step-by-step tutorial
Step 1
If you don't have wood scraps around the house, ask any hardware store for theirs. Usually there is a pile close to the wood cutting station.
Step 2
Emma and I cut egg shapes from pretty scrapbook paper. She used mod podge to seal an egg shape to one of the wood squares.
Step 3
We sealed the top with another layer of mod podge and let it dry for about an hour.
Final result!
We decided to use some letter stamps for an extra special touch. Are these cute or what? They look great on our mantel.
