Step 1
You can find these beautiful wood slices in any art store. They work great to create a more substantial piece of art, as opposed to a sheet of paper.
Step 2
I first added some ribbon to the back with hot glue. This makes for easy hanging.
Step 3
Next, my daughter got to work on a very special drawing for her Dad. You can use markers right on the wood. Paint would work well, too.
Final result!
She was so proud of her work and can hardly wait to give it to her Dad.
