Burlap American Flags

Painting right on burlap gives these a great rustic look. These flags were fun for the kids to make and I love the way they look in our home. This is a great patriotic craft for the family.

I think any fabric would work for this, but the burlap gave our flags a great look.

  • Step 4

We used hot glue (grown-up step) to attach our flags to wood dowels and craft sticks, depending on the size.

Look how great they came out! The kids loved having them for Memorial Day and they will be great for the 4th of July as well. This would be a fun way to make a banner, too.
