Gather your materials!

Cut a piece of string about 1½ feet in length.

Insert the handle of the dreidel into a hole on the ruler.
Step 4
Then, begin winding the string around the handle. Continue winding until there’s about 4 inches left.
Step 5
Hold the ruler in one hand and the end of the string in the other a little bit above the floor.
Final result!
Pull the string, let the dreidel drop to the floor, and watch it spin!
