Tissue Paper Wreath

  • Step 1

    Gather your materials.

  • Step 2

    Cut or rip the tissue paper into four-inch squares. You'll need about 50 squares to create a six-inch wreath.

  • Step 3

    Find two circular objects around your house, one large and one small (like a dinner plate and a roll of masking tape). Use them to trace a wreath shape on the cardboard. Then, cut it out using scissors or an X-acto knife.

    Alternatively, you can buy a craft ring at a craft store.

  • Step 4

    Pour some glue into a bowl. Tightly crumple a square of tissue paper, dip a little bit into the glue, and then stick it onto the wreath shape.

  • Step 5

    Continue to crumple, glue, and stick until your entire cardboard wreath is covered.

  • Step 6

    Glue a small piece of ribbon to the back of the wreath to hang it. Then, trim the excess ribbon.

  • Final result!

    Decorate and embellish your wreath to give it some sparkle, and give it to a special someone. Have a holly jolly good time!
