Leaf Butterfly

One of my favorite things about fall is the changing leaves. There is nothing more beautiful. This is a simple art project that you can incorporate the changing leaves by using them as art.

Step-by-step tutorial

Step 1
First, we drew our butterfly body and antennae.

Step 2
Then we added glue around the body and stuck on the leaves to make the wings.

Step 3
Then we added the googly eyes. My daughter loves to label things and she kept saying "eyes" and "wings"!

Final result!
This is such a great craft for toddlers because it requires only a few steps-- if toddlers are not known for one thing that would be patience! This fun fall craft was a big hit with my toddler.
