Step 1
Go on a nature hunt. Hunt for items that you can use to camouflage the toilet paper tube. Anything from leaves to grass to flowers will work.
Step 2
Glue, tape, or staple your natural items onto the toilet paper tube. This was a great time to talk about what camouflage means and how to make it blend in.
Step 3
Here is our nature creature! The kids started working on their own, but then decided to work together to make just one.
Step 4
Let the games begin! Hide it somewhere in the yard. Try hiding it under a bush, in a tree, or on the fence.
Final result!
Take turns finding and hiding your nature creature. The challenge was to find the trickiest hiding spots. We played this game for hours!
