Gelatine Fun!

Sensory fun activities are a favorite in our home. I love seeing these little hands explore, learn and discover all while relaxing their body and mind and thinking this is the most fun they've ever had! On this day we made jello. Not jello to eat, but it does feel pretty cool and made an afternoon for my kids very exciting.

The gelatine we used for this is just plain gelatine, no sugar, color or flavorings.

  • Step 2

We prepared it as directed on the package. This varies a little depending on the brand you have, but basically it involves adding water--which my two-year old loved helping with.

This activity was a great one for some outside sensory play. It was a messy one, but well worth it for the smiles it got.
