Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

Play dough is great, but scented play dough is wonderful! Such a great sensory play activity for little ones to explore with. We took our regular dough recipe to a new level with a packet of Frosting Creations.

  • Step 2

Add all ingredients to a bowl. Boiling water should go in last.

  • Step 3

Mix it up until a sticky dough forms and dump it onto a working surface. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky and knead until you have a nice soft dough.

We added cookie cutters, birthday candles, and rocks to the mix and the kids had fun making green cakes and mountains.
