Straw Flute

We started this project by laying some straws down on the table. My daughter picked some that she wanted to use.

I helped her line each one up and she snipped a chunk off the bottom to make them shorter. If you want, you can measure each one about make it about an inch shorter than the next, but we just went with it!

When my daughter was happy with the lengths, I laid the straws on the table from longest to shortest and taped them together.

I handed my daughter the flute and we danced a jig! She had so much fun playing it and it was so easy to create!
