Who's ready for a race? Race to the hole with this Golf Race Game. Practice counting and taking turns along the way!

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

    Use an old shoebox for your game board. Remove or cut off the lid to your box. Turn it upside down. Trace a circle (we traced a cup) and cut a hole on one side of the box. Paint the box green or cover it with green paper.

  • Step 2

    Use stickers to make two pathways to the hole. We put 10 stickers on each side.

  • Step 3

    Add the name of your game and use bottle tops or cotton balls for game pieces.

  • Step 4

    You're ready to play! Roll the die.

  • Step 5

    Move the number of spaces you rolled.

  • Step 6

    The first person to get their game piece in the hole wins.

  • Final result!

    Move the box to get your game piece back (because there isn't a lid on the box) and play again!
