Step-by-step tutorial
Step 1
To make your tic tac toe board you will need a bandana (any color) and duct tape. I used a glittery craft tape and it didn't stay put as well as I needed it to so we switched to duct tape.
Step 2
Stick your pieces of tape onto the bandana in a tic tac toe design. If your travel Tic Tac Toe set is a gift, iron the bandana before you start. If it is for your own personal use, don't worry about ironing it because it gets wrinkled when you gather it up to travel.
Step 3
Find something you have around the house to use as tic tac toe pieces. We used legos because we have a lot of them. You could also use erasers, index cards with Xs and Os written on them, or even different colored bottle tops. You will need two sets of 5 game pieces.
Step 4
Now you are ready to play! Challenge a friend or relative to a game of tic tac toe.
Final result!
When you are done playing, put the pieces in the middle and gather up the bandana. Secure it with a ribbon or hair tie (like we used). Now your travel Tic Tac Toe board is ready to be taken on the road.
