- Faux leather is known by many names: vinyl, artificial leather, vegan leather, PU leather, and pleather. Most are made with a plastic coating to imitate the look and feel of leather, but some are made from natural materials like cork or even pineapple leaves!
- Artificial leather can be found in many places, from car seats to clothing, but why is it used? It's cheaper than real leather, easier to work with, not made from animals, and comes in a variety of fun colors.
