“We came up with and prototyped so many drawer designs: sliding, spinning, lifting, rotating, and even different methods for actually opening the storage section, too! In the end, the spin-out drawers were the most sturdy and reliable design — plus they had the most storage space!”

My son (8) absolutely loves this set. He really enjoyed building it and he has enjoyed many games of chess on it since. The draws are a brilliant feature. It is robust and very well designed.
