Great instructions. I helped and 8 and a 6 year-old and the kids were able to easily put the drawbot together and the end results were impressive. They also loved reading about the other robots and how to change the weight and shape of the putty to make the drawings different.

It was fun to construct, and once we balanced it, we enjoyed watching it draw. We had trouble getting the drawbot to continually draw due to the folds in the paper. The marker points got stuck along the folds, and bled through the paper. We figured out that taping the paper down helped to lessen the ridges in the paper.

Directions were easy for my 12 year old to follow. Everything was included, even the batteries.

Good directions and easy for my nine-year-old to put it together. It was also fun to watch it move around the paper. It was something my five-year-old could really enjoy watching as well.

The experiment gave my son and I the opportunity to talk about motors and how it all works. He was able to learn, hands on, in a very safe way.

Very engaging! My son often prefers his video games to classical toys and games, but he was instantly hooked. He also like the modification to use the motor as spin art.
