This is an awesome experiment, and the 'battery' is still powering the clock for over a year. Months into the project, my child is still asking questions about how it works, what is happening to the metal plates, and how electricity is produced. 

My 14 yr old enjoyed the projects in this lab.

Excellent kit!!! Some kits only have one or two projects in it. This one have FIVE! 

My 9 year old nephew has often asked if we can do science experiments.  It was hard to have ideas and supplies on hand.  The kits have what we need for him to choose something of interest, have the instructions to complete them and learn and all the materials at hand.  He loves it!

This was another excellent kit. The chemistry series is very well done. 

We liked the clock. Everything else was kinda filler.

This kit exceeds my expectations.  My son has a subscription of chemistry kit from another company, but this kit is much better quality, more informative, more educational, etc.

This was a very cute project. We have been doing weekly summer themes we spent a week talking about chemistry and the periodic table. This project was the culmination of our week. 

It was amazing!  I ordered it for a 6 yr old and he is learning so much from it.

I'm a homeschool mom and I loved using this along with our chemistry curriculum.

I use this in a 7th grade science class to introduce metal identification.  It is a safe and exciting introduction to chemistry!

Fire lab was a gift for our son. He loves it. It was entertaining for he whole family. 

Awesome! We get another science themed subscription and this set was way better than anything we’ve done with the other brand so far. My daughter had so much fun with this kit. 

I did this box together with my son who is 12. We liked these were real experiments using real elements. Also the instructions are easy to follow and the box has everything you need so no need to buy additional things. I liked that there a few experiments we can do and it can be split over few days/times. It is a fun and educational project and great for the whole family!

I've purchased this kit twice now.  I love how many aspects of fire this kit covers and my daughter and her friends loved it (properly supervised of course).

I bought this as a Christmas gift fir my 13yr old daughter. This is one of the best kits you have!! It really educates your child on fire chemistry, how elements burn differently, the effects of oxygen suction and even combustion on a fire and its relatable to real world situations. It even dusted my chemistry cobwebs off ???. It reiterates what your child is learning in school and adds the elements of fun outside of the school environment. My daughter repeated the experiments many times. Great job on this one.

This crate was very fun, if we did not by this crate I would never ever learn science.

Chemistry (4-Pack)

I wish this chemistry set were a bit less expensive, but the quality is quite good. It contains all the materials needed (and many experiments can be done at least twice), and the explanations of the science behind the experiments is the most clear of any chemistry set we've tried. It's rated age 14+, but my 10 year old was able to do it with a bit of help from an adults, and he loved it.

Pricey but a great chemistry set!

I did these plus the fire lab with my 10 and 14 year olds. We were all very impressed! They all had the wow factor that we've missed doing other science experiments in the past. The science is explained thoroughly and in a way that is understandable.

The whole family enjoys the fire lab.  You must be prepared to supervise younger ones.  I prefer to shop for specific crates rather than do the subscriptions.  This was the first set I purchased outside of the monthly subscription plan.  So glad we did.
