I liked it because I got the chance to make the design

My grandson and his dad loved putting it together.

We love kiwico items so much! And we wanted to love this… however the bunny robot just did not work. We followed the directions completely and it didn’t move at all. So unfortunately since that was the main project in this box, we put in a lot of work and didn’t get much out of it.  But that being said, we’ve tried a lot of the different kiwico crates and have been super impressed! This was a disappointment but will probably not hinder me from exploring new crates in the future. 

My 4 year old wasn’t really into making the pieces itself, but he did enjoy decorating his robot. Once all the pieces were put together, he spent all night doing the obstacles cards that come with this set. Once he completed all the cards, he went on to make his own obstacles and find ways around it! He had so much fun and loved the challenge. My husband and I loved seeing his imagination!

This is one of my daughters favorites. She played with this one longer then the others making different tracks. She even brought it to the park to show her friends. 

When the robot followed the track, my five year old said “my mind exploded!”

My son loved this! He’s still playing with it today. It was so nice to see his imagination flourish with this one. 

So far it’s been great. My 5 year old I was able to assemble the tracks (the foam parts) and can build different paths on his own. We have been going through the different puzzle cards of scenarios and they are great so far (we haven’t finished all cards yet).  It would be nice if the board were larger so the kids can build longer and more convoluted paths. The robot Pal that is assembled in step 1 doesn’t relate to the actual Rabot, but would be nice if there could be some activity associated with it too, other than just assembling it.

It was fun- putting in the foam bits was a little tedious and the kids lost interest after a few times (16 all together). They lived the little rabbit

My 2 year old absolutely loved this box. So happy I added it in between crates. 

This was so much fun for my 3yo. We spread the activities out over the course of the week. It's been almost 3 hours of activities altogether. Each activity was so much fun. 

What we liked:  each activity in the kit was fun (except one); most of the ingredients can easily be found at home, so you can continue to experiment; the instructions and materials were great to get the lab set up, and once you are all set up, that's all you need.
What we didn't like:  the underwater fireworks didn't really work and there was no troubleshooting guide to suggest what might have gone wrong - it only did the "fireworks" when we took our own step and added colored water at the top.

My kids loved this kit. We spread it out over a week. It was their reward for being good each day. 

2 hours of learning and fun for both my kids.

It is such a hit, all my son's stuffies are in great care now.  My sister is a vet tech and she was very impressed with all the items it came with.  I personally love the x-ray, such a great idea, and he loves "reading" them to tell his patients what needs to be fixed.  A great kit all around! 

This gift was enjoyed by a 6 yo for her birthday.

My 6 year old granddaughter had a lot of fun with this. She especially liked wrapping up her stuffie's owies and writing in the chart with the dry erase markers. I was happy to see the stethoscope really works and is not just pretend.

My kids love this set! Pieces are well-designed for play and are more engaging than most of the veterinarian play set out there. 

My grandaughter loved it. From the x-rays to the chart, the bandage & everything else. I just wish it would have been made it a little more sturdy

My 4yo loved this from the moment she opened it. It’s so great and can grow with her as she learns and understand more as she gets older 

This is an excellent kit for pet loving kids! The quality is great and we had so much fun playing Find The Fracture.

Peek into Ponds

We’ve been subscribers for a long time! This box was so fun! I have two boys who LOVE frogs and ponds! I ended up making a second leaping frog lily pad because they both wanted one! It worked out great with the extra frogs they painted and we still play with these on the daily! 

We had a blast with this crate. My son carries his bottle aquarium around everywhere! This kit was perfect for my 6 year old, and he really liked making chalk art frogs and his leaping Lilly pad. The aquarium in the bottle had multiple steps, which is great because he had to pay close attention to each detail as we worked through it.

It's great. I bought it for my daughter in Kindergarten for her Habitat project. It was manageable for her to do alone in class after I explain to her what to do prior to class.

Solar System

This was a hit with the kids. It visually showed them how the galaxy is. 

The kids loved the painting and the fact that the sun lights up.  It was easy for them to do with just a bit of assistance and actually having to paint each planet let them become more familiar with the qualities (size/make up/orbit in relation to the sun).  Comic that came along with the set was great and the meteor popper was awesome as well.

My son loved it! And I loved that it was perfect at the time seeing that he was learning about the solar system so it made science class for him more fun! 

So cute. Easy and relaxing to do.
Love the painting part of the project to make the solar personalized. 

Granddaughter really liked it. Was a birthday gift. 


My 8yr old loved the solar system craft. She loves to paint and we homeschool so this was perfect. 

It was a big hit with my great- nephew, the first project he worked on after receiving his box. He's always excited to get each new kiwi crate every month and the special box was especially fun!

Fun project. Sun and light were a bit tricky and fell apart easily. Father and 5 year old did this together. 

We had a lot of fun building this and learning about the planets.

Compact learning experience for children..Will have to open them one at a time..Way too stimulating…

The summer camp crates were well received and enjoyed by my grandchi.d during grandparents  week of joy.  My grandchild is a Kiwi regular and his eyes lit up with delight when he saw grandparents with Kiwi crates. Only thing that he added when first crate was completed was “where is my sticker to put on a chart?”   I gather that the regular subscription co e with a journey chart that is more important than I thought. I’m making up my on chart but this would be a great addition to the camp 5 day crates for future “vacation” series.

What I thought doesn't really matter, but my just-turned seven granddaughter loved these kits. I might have been disappointed that the Pond box didn't include a simple water collection kit with a magnifier so she could see the life in a drop of water, but she doesn't know about it. But isn't that the point?

Wonderful product. Going to sign up for the subscription! My 5 and 6 year old love it.  

Charli loved each adventure and so did her parents!  Definitely encourages creative thinking. 

I'm giving the crates four stars as they did not meet my expectation.  I really thought that purchasing the crates to go with the camp would mean that everything needed for the camp would come in the crate with the exception of scissors, pencils, etc.  Does anyone have an extra battery pack lying around?    We ended up stopping the camp and just giving the crates.  I was hoping this was open and go with the exception of the normal items such as pencils, markers, and crayons.  

This was a good value and our first introduction to Kiwi Crates. I appreciated that two of these are store exclusives, not available through the subscription. There is a very nice variety of different activities. Instead of fitting everything into a 5 day camp, we spent a few days to a week on each box and activities - the pace was better since these are usually part of a monthly subscription. If I had one suggestion it would be less emphasis on careers and accomplishments for this age (every topic includes an interview with someone who works in the field).

My five year old was so excited for this five pack and it did not disappoint! We loved it!!

My kids have loved being in "camp" this week. The boxes are well thought out, the instructions perfect for my kiddos to handle independently and the projects are fun!!  Great job KiwiCo!
