I really didn't like this kit. It really didn't have much to offer. The rainbow kit was so much more fun and interactive. This kit in my opinion was not worth the money. Would not recommend this kit.

This was so much fun to do with my son. The smock we continue to use for projects to this day.

My boys absolutely loved making their own creation. They really enjoyed painting. This is a great crate, probably their favorite one so far.

I got this box as part of our subscription years ago, and I mean years ago. My daughter loved the sculpture project and did such a great job, I still have it sitting on my desk. She's about to turn 7. I was window shopping when I came across this and just had to give my two cents. I highly recommend this box.

My little guy loved all the projects in this box! We are pretty new to KiwiCo. My little guy has enjoyed everything he's received so far but this one was his favorite. 3 art projects in one box that we could spread out over the week was pretty grand for me too.

Kyla liked the painting. We liked the more interesting techniques, and made good use of the tools. This one encouraged her personal creativity.

Fun with paint

It was great! He loved the different activities

Great

I loved the art projects. Great variety and love that we can use the apron for other boxes in the future

Great variety

The activities were fun and the projects turned out lovely.

Great project

Fun and engaging . Loved the paint in the box and shake it up activity.

Super engaging

Encourage little artists with a color-block painting project, abstract bead sculpture, and a personalized art smock.

Make your own playdough, then shape it into balls and roll it out into ropes to practice counting and measuring. Use the pizza mat, rolling pin, and pizza toppings to create a pretend play pizza, then divide it up into slices to share with friends.

Numbers

I liked that this crate helped my son learn how to count!

Helped him learn

This one is not a throw away (unfortunately some of the boxes aren't made to last too long). The pieces are sturdy and the educational factor is definitely there. It was also fun for the adults as well which is so nice for a change lol!

One of Faves

Keep up the great work with coming up with ideas that I would think of myself. Its great to have it all in one box.

Keep it up!

My son loves all kiwi crate projects and opportunities to have new experiences. The idea of the activity mats was great! He especially loved the pizzas.

New experiences and activities

I liked the theme, along with the variety of play doh activities.

Cute theme

After making the play dough the remaining activities were not that exciting. She lost interest in it.

Able to make play dough

We already have TONS of play doh and even make our own sometime, so the activity didn't feel that novel. It also really didn't get us talking about numbers. I think the placemat underlays were the best part, and they would be an awesome downloadable/print

Love the placemat underlays

I don't think there is anything you could do to make the crates better. They are absolutely amazing!

Couldn't be better!

So fun to make

The making Playdough portion and the pizza portion were great. But the faces, counting was so boring and uninspired. My daughter didn’t play with it even once.

Got to make play dough!

Farm

Really interactive for my 3 year old son and daughter.

Amazing

All parts are cute and enjoyable to play with over and over.

Love it!

The topics of reinforcing patterns and matching is great developmentally for my son. I am always looking for activities to ensure he is being taught new skills throughout his childhood!

Great for my developing son

Creating the "veggies" with the beads and pipe cleaners was a creative way to help kids be creative while also developing good play skills.

Who knew veggies could be fun!

I love how KiwiCo offers ways we can organize and keep the materials together. The buildable barn tote doesnt just fold out into a landscape board, but also as a holder for all of the activities!

Versatile materials

This box was awesome; just enough to keep my almost 4 year old engaged without needing a ton of assistance from me.

Great for little ones

Reinforcing taking turns in this crate is important, especially because she has 2 siblings. Thanks KiwiCo for teaching these important skills to my daughter.

Taking turns

The finger puppets are so, so cute! We have played with those the most by far. Things like this that use pretend play are what help my son develop his imagination.

Finger puppet fun

Visit the farm with a matching veggie game, a set of four DIY finger puppets, and a barn tote case and playmat.

Camping

My kids still play with this almost a year after also, please allow customers to purchase again that is not require a bulk order! I need to buy this for a gift soon!!! Thank you kindly

This set was cute - and my son loved it. But the backpack is made for a very small child. My 3 year old couldn’t even get this on his shoulders. He was extremely disappointed. He’s a bigger 3 year old — but I thought the size was weird.

My son and I loved the Camping crate. The bear backpack continues to be used months later and the little light up fire with roasting supplies continues to fuel imaginative play.

My granddaughter was going camping. It came a day after she left. She loves camping and shes almost 2 1/2. This was a fun project.

This was our first and favorite KiwiCo box - my kids have been playing with it for a year and a half now! Even the paper campfire has held up surprisingly well.

Both my 2 and 4 year old adored this kit! We still "go camping," in our living room several times a week with my four year old leading the way. The backpack is good quality and will last a long time.

Excellent! My 3 yo son is still having a great time pretending to roast marshmallows over the “fire.” We even bought another one as a gift!

Was greatly enjoyed and many pretend camping adventures have occurred

Such a great way to get my kids involved in an activity together. They took turns "cooking" the hot dog and smores over the campfire. It was great to see them get along.

Sharing is caring!

My four year old loved it. We read books around the campfire and had a great time with it.

Rainforest

Excellent

My 4 year old son loved this so much he took a nap with the butterfly! Super cute!

Loved it

Engaging, well-planned, organized

My daughter loves decorating things, so created the butterfly and adding stickers to the rainstick was a highlight in this crate.

Stickers and more!

I was so proud of him when he built the rainstick! He had such a blast shaking it and playing the balance game after it was created. He was so good at counting numbers.

Rainstick Play

Counting numbers has been something I have been trying to reinforce, so being able to practice this with the balance game was awesome and really surprised me with how well my son can count.

Counting numbers

Practicing fine motor skills with the balancing game was beneficial for my daughter. She was also able to play for hours on end with the butterfly and musical rainstick she created.

Learning beneficial skills

Playing the balancing game with the rainstick was great father-son time. I loved being able to take time and do this interactive crate with him.

Balancing game and father-son time

The kids were able to complete this activity themselves, with some minor direction from us. They were thrilled by their creations and the enclosed activities.

So fun and educational too

This was our first box and it was awesome. The replay value lasts for years and for multiple kids the game with the the rainstick was the favorite here.

Best box ever

Transform a caterpillar puppet into a butterfly, build a rainstick, and play a stacking tree game.

Music

Music & Rhythm

it was for my granddaughter
She was happy so I'm a happy G-Pappy

My son is 4.5 years old. He had no trouble at all putting together the xylophone/tambourine. The concept was too simplistic. Self-composing is good but a music sheet with a melody that can be played with the four keys on the xylophone would be a nice addition to the crate.

Great activity for under 4 years old

3-4 year old was delighted and did it all!

wonderful

My 4 year old son has done numerous krates and he is so excited to do them!!!! We love all the different themes! They always include everything you need to make decent quality projects, with easy to follow direction and a story to go with the theme!!! He calls them his ‘homework box’! Thank you for this great idea for mom and child to make and learn together!!

My son loooooooves the koala krates!!!!

My son always has a smile on his face when he is playing with his koala crates. He loved making music with his new instruments!

fun, fun, fun

My son would not set down his tambourine! He loved the sounds it made and really got him more interested in musc. I am excited for him and hope this opens him up to a new hobby!

Possible new hobby

The balance of educational value and creativity in this crate was on point. Her favorite project was the xylophone.

Good balance of learning and art

My daughter and I had a good time putting on a show or the rest of the family once we were done with the crate. I watched my daughter explore the crate and really enjoy the subject of music.

Living Room Rock Band

I loved how many projects came in this box. They were all very hands on and focused on music and rhythm! From dancing to playing instruments, we had a fun family day.

Family fun with music

Make a xylophone and write your own music. Play some jingles on your own koala-shaped tambourine. Decorate your dancing streamer with colorful dots for movement fun.
