My 11 yo was able to figure it all out on her own and then teach me. We have yet to FINISH the hat so hopefully we can figure that part out too but so far so good!!!

I asked for this kit for Christmas and have fallen in love with loom knitting. I have never knitted or crocheted, but the instructional videos were very easy to follow. The equipment is good quality and versatile. After I made my hat I bought more yarn and am almost done making a matching scarf (on the loom provided).

Directions were easy to follow. Unfortunately when making my hat, there was a knot in my skein that I didn’t notice until it needed to go through a stitch. When I pulled on the string to go through the stitch, it broke making my hours of work useless

An outstanding way to make hats, for those who have tried to knit or crochet and got frustrated. No more counting stitches (or wonky shapes when you drop and add stitches), easy color changing, and being able to catch a mistake or slipped stitch...it doesn't just disappear when the weight of your project pulls it apart and you have to guess at where to pick up the stitch again. As someone who only ever started many knitting projects, I am well on my way to finishing one and looking forward to many cool hats in the future!
