Gather your materials.

Thread beads onto a pipe cleaner. We alternated between red and white beads to make a candy cane.
Step 3
Continue threading on beads until ¾ of the pipe cleaner is filled.
Step 4
Cut both ends of the pipe cleaner so that they’re about a half inch long.
Step 5
Fold each end of the pipe cleaner and stick them into the beads on either end to keep the beads in place. Then, shape your candy cane!
Tip
Candy canes are made for hanging on trees with their little “hook” at the top. For other ornament shapes, try tying a piece of ribbon to the top!
