Gather your materials.

Step 2
Paint the body of the peg green and it dry completely.
Step 3
Use a pencil to outline details for the face and clothes. We added a jacket collar, buttons, and a belt.
Step 4
Paint on the details! We used a permanent marker for the black accents.
Step 5
Make a tiny hat out of felt! Cut out a wide triangle with a rounded bottom and a thin strip that is as long as the widest part of the triangle. Use the top of the peg to determine the size of your felt pieces. Curl the triangle piece into a cone and glue it closed. Then glue the felt strip around the bottom of the hat and glue the pom pom on top.

Glue your tiny hat onto your elf!
