- One of the world's smallest mammals, Kitti's hog-nosed bat, is found only in Thailand and Burma. It's known as the bumblebee bat, because it's barely over 1 inch (2.5 cm) long — just about the size of a big bumblebee!

- Every year, the people of Lopburi host some rather unusual dinner guests at their local temple — monkeys! Residents believe that they'll have good luck if they break bread (or rather, fruit) with their neighbors.
