Before you get started

    1. Check out these important tips for best results:
    2. Clay can stain some surfaces, so always work on the mat. When you're finished, scrub your hands with warm, soapy water before touching anything else.
    3. When baking, make sure the rack is in the middle of the oven, and keep an eye on the clay as it bakes. Take out the clay if it starts to brown.
    4. Use aluminum foil to keep the clay from sticking to the baking tray.
