It was engaging to my 14 yr old. So many craft kits are geared for much younger kids. Great to have one that teens enjoy too.

We liked that most of the materials were included, that the instructions were clear and understandable, and that my daughter and I could spend time together, measuring, learning, and creating.

My daughter LOVED this box. She liked the fact that it was more than 1 activity (dyeing then weaving), and it all 'worked' and turned out well. It was something she wouldn't have come up with on her own. I think the value is good, too -- we just cancelled with another 'monthly kit' company, because we felt like we were getting $8 value for $23 :(. Kiwi products seem fair.
