Castles & Catapults

My daughter liked that the material seemed fairly durable for play use. I enjoyed the easy instructions and that she was able to be independent & hands-on when constructing the crafts. I didn't really need to assist her, but we had fun doing it together. My daughter got a little frustrated having to cut her own additional flags, but I think that was part of the learning process. ;) We subscribe to Kiwi Crate and find it's a cute and fun subscription. She looks forward to her box each month. The pricing seems steep when I recommend it to friends. Maybe because I've had to construct crafts at work, I find the price reasonable.

We loved the punch out castle!!! My granddaughter played for hours. She rearranged it several different ways. She also played with the catapult for hours. We shot several different objects around the room. It was an excellent crate. Everything was relevant and fun!! I read her the facts while she was making things. We have a family crest and I showed her our family's crest while she designed hers. It was a really good crate. My granddaughter really looks forward to the crate every month! I enjoy spending that one-on -one time with her. Can't wait for next granddaughter to get big enough for projects also. It is very fun every month spending time and doing the projects with my granddaughter. We really enjoy arts crafts and she likes that I read her the facts!! Thanks, Excellent product!!

Love your quality in general. Very engaging for our boys. Great sense of accomplishment when it is completed, and they continued to play with it for awhile afterwards.

Lots of fun to play with after creating, and to build. My kids loved decorating their castles and customizing them, and the little bit of extra flag material became a rug in one of my boys' castles. I always wish there were just a few extra glue dots - my kids seem to stick them down and then want/need to move them, and get super frustrated that they aren't as sticky as they were the first time.

The kids said it was really fun and they loved constructing the projects, particularly firing the catapult and pretending with the castle. The castle was perfect for my kids, ages 6 and 4, to put together on their own. The kit is always so well-presented and visually appealing. All the illustrations are so cute! Both projects provided long periods of play, not just "do it and throw it away." Unfortunately, they played a little rough and the stick on the catapult snapped in half (not strong enough for the project) and they couldn't use it any more.

My daughter is on the young side of the 3-8 and still really enjoyed helping me put together the castle and the catapult. After she enjoyed playing with it for a few days we put it back in the box do we can bring it out later and play with it again. This was are first crate and we were pretty impressed by it. I'm a teacher and really enjoy creating things with my children. After getting our first crate it really seems to be worth the cost and was really fun for us to do as a family.
