This crate was a great combination of engineering skills with a functional toy as a result that can be part of imaginative play for many hours. The discs fly at a great speed an distance for friendly competition but not so fast that it breaks things in my house! I loved the suggested games in the magazine as well as the adjustments for different experiments with flight.

The construction of the machine was straightforward and the directions were easy to follow. The design was great so the disc was guided so it would shoot properly. Once completed it became a very active project as the boys kept running around to catch the flying discs. The reading material related super well to the project and we all learned a lot!

Fun to build, fun to play with, high quality parts, and easy to follow instructions. There was a certain satisfaction when the discs flew properly and it was very sturdy. Easy to build and super effective -- so much fun watching the discs fly!
