“I was inspired by childhood memories of my favorite fort — which collapsed when my cousin jumped on it! To make sure your fort would bounce back instead of breaking, I set out to create a system that was both strong and flexible. The solution was to create connectors out of soft material that can flex in one direction but stay rigid in another. ”

I spend a lot of time with my granddaughters, and they love to imagine, create, and build - just like I do. KiwiCo supports all of those interests in the most fun and hands-on way. Plus, I never miss a chance to build a fort, so it’s a win-win-win for all of us.

We were grandparents on a quest for the perfect fort for our grandchildren when at our home. This fort along with blanket panels from another company fit the bill and met our expectations. Our four grandchildren ages 2, 3, 4, and 6 were all thrilled and enjoyed movie night in their new fort.

I purchased this fort building kit for my 7 year-old grandson. I looked at many kits but selected this one because it had wood poles instead of plastic. It is very well made and the connectors are very sturdy. It was easy for him to put together with a little help. One of the best parts is the heavy canvas bag that holds the poles, connectors, and even has a pouch for the instruction book. The instruction book shows different building options.

My grandson loved it so much, he wanted a second set to build larger. The set is very sturdy.
