I liked that I had to explain a number of different concepts to my son why playing with the crate, which we are still playing with. It really opened my son's eyes to what electricity is about, what cool things it can do and helped start conversations about engineering and science between us.

Was a really neat / complete project. My son made something that he can continue to play with and show his friends. We think we will expand with some of the ideas in the book and use for the science fair this year.

I liked how you got to see how electricity worked and how you got to make a flashlight. I liked how a light shone on the components.

Excellent program that introduces children the mechanics and science behind kits being built. I like how the kits focus on a wide variety from different areas of science, engineering & math. My favorite so far is the hand crank flash light but my daughter's favorite is the rocket which isn't a surprise since she is an outer space enthusiast. We absolutely love Tinker Crate.

My 8 y.o. daughter thought it would be SUPER hard, and the most "sciency" of all the crates so far because it involved circuits. However, she worked through each step with a little help from me, and was so thrilled with the completed project. This was the BEST tinker crate so far and the others have had us very happy as well.

I always love your instructional booklet and blueprint. About the Flashlight, I loved how all the parts were available. I didn't know what breadboards, diodes, resisters, or capacitors did before Tinker Crate. Now I am learning with my kids. I love the level of detail you put into your product. For example, providing a sticker to put over the area of cardboard that would catch on the hand crank was a detail most companies would overlook.
