Paper Lanterns

This particular crate did take my 8 year a few days to complete as she would do 2 or 3 lanterns and come back to it another day. The crate includes different textures(embossing), tissue colors and a hole punch. This lovely and colorful lantern looks great in her reading nook. The possibilities are endless.

Easy to execute and a beautiful end product! I love how nice the materials are and that it is a cool craft that she will actually be able to use and joy for a long time.

I liked that my daughter had to take some time to work on it and while it required patience and repetition, she was very pleased with the result! My daughter also liked that you get to design them yourself.

My daughter has issues with fine motor skills so I was concerned about this particular Doodle Crate. As with most of the other crates, it turned out to be very easy for her. All of the materials were provided and the directions were easy for her to follow. She also enjoyed the cultural art aspect provided in the reading. It took her a few days, but she followed this to completion and she is very proud of her beautiful work. She is also happy that she developed a new skill--embossing.

My kids loved being able to choose the emboss design, the holes for the lanterns, and the colors that shined through. The tools provided are great and can be used to explore additional paper embossing.

Age appropriate skill level. My granddaughter was excited to see the crate and to work at putting it all together. The materials were good quality and well organized. The directions were easy to understand and the illustrations of how to accomplish a task were very helpful. The finished project was beautiful.
