Rainforest

We loved the magazine that came with so many activities and interesting information that kids can understand, not too academic and with things not typically covered in young kids books (like the levels of the rainforest). Loved the unique frog hopper game. I have never seen that before.

My grandson and daughter loved the sound that the Rain stick makes, He loved decorating the frogs and then using the catapult to shoot them into the felt water pools that they made.

We liked that the projects were easy for our daughter to complete with minimal help. While I love thst most of them we work on together, it was fun to see her sense of accomplishment and be proud of what she created on her own.

We have loved the magazines in these Kiwi Crates. We use these crates for a whole month (once a week activity) in our homeschool. We use the activities and extra ideas in the magazine to stretch the crate and the lessons out for the whole month. It really has helped my teaching plans and our kids to really experience the topic.

I liked the frog launcher and the included magazine. The girls played with the frog launcher for over an hour and it shot much farther than any of us imagined! It started an interesting discussion on why the small frogs fly farther than the large frog!

The projects were really easy for my 4 year old to do mostly on her own- which is HUGE in our house! She has loved playing with the frog catapault thing and has even shown it to just about every adult that has entered our home.
