The calligraphy brush and ink was a fun and different way to paint. Having quite a bit of paper to practice on was also good. Fun to put the painting on the red backing and put dowels in.

My 9 year old did the entire thing by herself and absolutely loved it. She loved the special brush and that she got to display her art in a cool way at the end. This was one of her favorite crates so far!

Very creative, yet easy enough for my child to do all by herself. I absolutely LOVED the practice paper. That in and of itself was so much fun to work with!
