Behind the design

Getting a small amount of water to drip consistently is surprisingly hard! The "aha!" moment was leaving the pushpins in the tubing. That made it easy to adjust the size of the drip hole.

I gave this project a 10/10 because I like seeing the plants grow every single day.

My grandson, age 8, really enjoyed this kit! His family has a small garden and I thought this would be a great teaching project. I’m hoping to order another one for my great nephew.

    The plants grow healthy.

Loved introducing my 6 & 9 yr old to this! They completely helped in building and planting the seeds. It’s been so fun watching the seeds grow - we recently transplanted them outside!

My daughter throughly enjoyed putting it together. She was able to do it on her own. She liked watching the plants grow. The biodegradable containers were a good idea, but they do mold. There was a small piece to hold up the hose that was missing. There were supposed to be 3 and there were 2. It did work fine with 2 so we left it like that.
