Behind the design
“I grew seeds in zip bags for an elementary science project. It was so much fun, but I wanted to do it over and over again. That's why I came up with the idea for a larger, longer lasting planter, which first-time or experienced gardeners can both use.”- The KiwiCo Product Design team

My almost 3 year old loves his seedlings! We look and talk about them every day while we water the plants. He will go up to the plants throughout the day and talk abou t what he sees. He is taking pride in the growth of his seedlings. This is a great activity for kids and adults. It is very interesting to see the root structure up against the side.
This kit was fantastic! She was learning about plants in school so this was perfect. Easy to setup and they sprouted very quickly.
We absolutely loved our window garden. The kids were so excited to check it every day for changes in the seed/plant. Highly recommend for all ages!
