Behind the design

I grew seeds in zip bags for an elementary science project. It was so much fun, but I wanted to do it over and over again. That's why I came up with the idea for a larger, longer lasting planter, which first-time or experienced gardeners can both use.

Our daughter (about to turn 3) loves the garden so far. It is a really cool way to introduce little ones to plant science. Very easy to set up, and the bean started growing a noticeable beanstalk within a week. (The squash is not growing, but I believe that is due to overwatering by our toddler.) Would love to see more garden kits with other types of plants, too!
